On behalf of the Orange Walk Town Council and the citizens of Orange Walk Town, I extend a heartwarming welcome to you!

Our town is diverse and rich in history. Sitting on the tranquil banks of the New River, Orange Walk is home to the largest agricultural industry in Belize; sugar cane.

Tourism is in its infancy. However, I am certain you will enjoy destinations such as historic Fort Mundy, the 106 year old La Inmaculada Catholic Church, and of course Lamanai. I encourage you to visit Lamanai.

This was once an important trading post for the anicient Mayas throughout the Classical Period. It is also the only archeological site that you will access by river.

The people of Orange Walk are known for being hardworking and friendly. I am certain you will enjoy meeting my fellow Orange Walkenos, savouring our unique and spicy foods, and visiting our tourist destinations.
